OUR PROCESS

  • DESIGN CONSULTATION

    We start with an inquiry form to learn more about your project. Then we will jump on a call to get a better understanding of your vision and desired verbiage. We will discuss paper selection and additional upgrade options.

  • MOOD BOARD & INITIAL SKETCHES

    After our call, we will research and come up with a design concept that fits your needs. We will put together and send over a mood board and initial sketches for the overall design. Then, we will hop on another quick call or email to make adjustments and sort out the specifics.

  • ART & DESIGN

    We will paint original watercolor artwork that fits within your vision, digitize them, and form proofs with your selected verbiage to send over to you. This is the most tedious task and will take the most time of the process.

  • PROOFING

    Proofs will be emailed to you with the initial design. Two design revisions are included with unlimited text revisions. In this step, we are bringing your event to life and perfecting every little detail before we send the invitation off to print.

    *Additional design fees will apply if revisions exceed two rounds of redesign.

  • PRODUCTION & MAILING

    Once the final design is approved, we will send it out to print. We use an offsite printer to give you the most professional luxury paper and print quality. Once, MadebyMimi receives your invitations, all assembly is done in-house and mailed out by our team. We provide white-glove service so you don’t have to lift a finger! This step can also take a while with shipping and assembly time depending on the complexity of design and quantity.

  • FINAL SUITE

    We will send you any extras and for married couples - a fully assembled keepsake suite for you to treasure when you look back on your special day. We hope you will love each piece we create together!
